Favorite products of the month !

Dear readers!

I wanted to share with you all my top 5 favourite product for this month. I have linked each product to the website where you can buy them and where most are on sale this month (saving money is always a smart idea) .

My favourite flavour is  coconut! Well you know me, I´m nuts about coconut

Stevia drops are a natural sweetener and a sugar substitute, extracted from the plant stevia rebaudiana. These drops are approximately 300 times sweeter than sugar, so you only need a few drops! They don´t effect the blood sugar level.
They are calorie, carbohydrate and fat free.

Stevia drops can be added to :
  • quark and yoghurt  - I do my best when it comes to avoiding aspartame and sugar, and unfortunately all flavoured quarks and yoghurts on the market here in Sweden contain either aspartame or sugar. And therefore I sweeten and flavour my own quark with stevia drops. In quark and yoghurt my favourite combinations are :
           - coconut stevia drops
           - cacao + stevia drops
           - mashed frozen raspberries and raspberry stevia drops
  • tea - I don´t drink coffee but tea is a big must in my life. I do not sweeten green tea but when it comes to fruity flavours, chai or chocolate, I like to drink my tea sweet! I like sweetening my tea with caramel and the coconut stevia drops. For a big cup  of tea (3-4 dl water) I use 5 stevia drops.
  •  Baking - I use about 6-12 stevia drops when I make single serving cakes. Chocolate, Vanilla and Caramel are the ones that I use when I make cakes.
  • Chia pudding - 4-6 stevia drops. Coconut milk is already sweet by itself, so I add the drops to enhance the coconut flavour.  The combination of coconut (2-3 drops) and Vanilla (2-3 drops) are an award winning combination !

Almond flour is basically a "flour" made out of mixed almonds, and therefore contains all the properties of almonds! It is low in carbohydrates (4g /100g), high in protein (40g/100g), high in fiber (20g/100g), high in vitamins (biotin, vitamin E, vitamin B2)  and minerals (magnesium, phosphorus, copper, iron and manganese).

It is perfect for both sweet and savoury baking. I use almond flour mostly to make moist and fudgy cakes, cookies and I use it in when I bake pizza.

Sukrin gold is a an absolute must when it comes to making cakes and caramelizing nuts ! I bought this for my father and he uses a teaspoon in his coffee every morning ! So you coffee lovers out there, you have to try this combo!
It tastes just like brown sugar and I love the "toffee-caramell" taste that it has. It is just as sweet as brown sugar.

4. Almond butter

Almond butter tastes so much better than peanut butter. No offence ! But I am a big big big almond butter addict ! A spoon a day takes the doctor a day. But you need to find the right spoon!!

5. Yogi Tea with Choco flavour

Tea with chocolate flavour that resembles hot chocolate ! Perfect for all chocolate addicts out there. A cup of this tea is warming for the soul.  I love the quote that each tea filter has!  They quotes are usually regarding love and life, and are highly motivational. For some reason I keep on getting on getting over and over again the quote "love can conquer anything"! Could it be a sign ?

  1. Tur att det finns steviadroppar. Det är sorgligt att all smaksatt kvarg är sötad med aspartame. Mandelmjöl kan jag heller klara mig utan längre.
