National waffle day !

National waffle day !

Eating waffles on national waffle day is something I have only started doing since I started my instagram account two years ago. Before that waffles was something I ate once in a life time on super special occasions

Here are the waffles I made. Both sweet and savory.

with some left over savory waffle batter I made:

  1. Waffle pizza! Savory waffle topped with cheese, coconut oil fried peppers, pumpkin seeds and cashew nuts. (I microwaved everything for 30-60 seconds, but you can also put it in the oven until the cheese melts).

2.  Waffle panini! Make two savory waffles. Top one with pesto, chopped cherry tomatoes (each cherry tomato in 4 pieces), mozzarella. Add the other waffle on top. And place inside the waffle maker. Grill till the cheese melts!

WAFFLE RECIPES:

  2. Place half of the batter inside a greased waffle maker
  3. Cook till golden
  4. Repeat!
