Days in Göteborg

So I have finally visited cosy GÖTEBORG after over 5 years of living in Sweden!
It was about time I have to say! Somehow I have always wanted to visit Göteborg, yet every time I decide to do something, I always end up in either Stockholm or Malmö and usually in a place that has food.

Being in Göteborg was so much more than just visiting the city. I had the honour to spend those two days with amazing colleagues. There is something unique about the environment we work in. Maybe its due to the fact that we spend so many hours together and in such a limited space. And due to the fact that no one is afraid to be who they are. Everyone is accepted and no one is left out. We help each other instead of competing against one another At the end of the day we kind of become of a small family.

I truly feel so grateful about my job at the end of each day. And as I have such a fun time working, time actually flies away. In all senses!

When I was in Göteborg we spent hours talking in around the sofas in the reception sharing stories and left over crew food (that consisted of crisp bread, cheese and chocolate).

Our first flight from Göteborgs airport was to Rome.  And while they were cleaning the aeroplane we got an amazing "photoshoot" by one of our pilots.
In the picture below you can see the aircraft we were flying on and the wonderful Tilda that I got the honour to work with.

And then of course, to make the stay even more special, there was the fact that I was waking up to hotel breakfast. That actually does make life a little better ;) Scandic hotel has an incredible organic breakfast buffet with such a great variety of different things from sweet to savoury. I have never in my life seen so many different types of breads and yoghurt toppings (nuts, seeds, dried fruits, coconut, fresh fruits, muesli's, jams ect.)
And lastly, but not least,  the fact that my sweet friend Sofia came to Göteborg to show me around the city.
