I am crazy about granola. I love eating them in quark, yogurt or just as they are, along with a big cup of tea. The truth is that most granola´s are super unhealthy and packed with sugar and unhealthy fats. And the healthy ones cost a fortune. This is the reason for which I used to buy granola only in special occasions. Even though I am a huge fan of baking I never tried making it myself because I thought it was something super complicated to make. This was until I tried making it myself and I must say I was impressed because I realized it tasted even better than the one I used to buy and pay a fortune for !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to share with you all one of the most amazing granola´s known to mankind. (So consider yourself lucky ! )
Ingredients
- 2 scoops chocolate & hazelnut whey protein powder ( I use the brand fitnessguru. You can buy this protein powder here : http://www.fitnessguru.com/sv/one-whey#chocolate-hazelnut )
- , 1 dl (40g) hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 2 tbsp sukrin gold(or 1 tbsp truvia)
- 1/2 flaxseeds
- 1/2 dl shredded coconut
- 1 dl sunflowerseeds
- 1 dl coconut chips
- 2/3 dl melted coconut oil or melted butter
- 1/2 dl boiling water
Procedure :
- Put the oven at 150 degrees Celsius
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
- Pour on a baking tray with baking paper on top
- Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes
- Let cool on the tray
- Enjoy!
